Protocol for Children of Parents with Learning Disabilities

The HIPS Protocol for Children of Parents with Learning Disabilities has been written to address the needs of safeguarding and protecting children where the parent(s) have a learning disability, to support the parents and make the work undertaken effective and clear. It has been written for use by all statutory Adult and Children’s Services, non-statutory, private and voluntary sector services across the HIPS LSCP area, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton.
